AIM

To enable delegates identify the principles and benefits of effective teamworking and apply them to their own workplace environment.

OBJECTIVES

By the end of the workshop delegates should be able to:
  • Understand the difference between a group and a team and the benefits and characteristics of effective teams.
  • Analyse and assess their own and others’ strengths and weaknesses within the team.
  • Identify the factors, which can block team performance and establish strategies to overcome these.
  • Develop plans to successfully transfer newly acquired skills and knowledge to increase the effectiveness of their own work team(s).

  • Dealing with conflict and interpersonal relationships.

This workshop is delivered in an interactive style using a range of training techniques and resources. Course handouts are provided.
